Our client is a leading manufacturer of large-bore fiberglass piping and
spray header systems for the power generation industry. The current
legislation requiring coal-fired generating plants to retrofit air
pollution equipment has caused explosive growth in demand for our piping
systems. This requires that we increase our capacity substantially over
the next few years in order to take full advantage of a demand that
promises to extend through the year 2020.
Our customers are major engineering and construction firms throughout the
U.S.
Because every order is different, the manufacturing process is driven
by “job shop” organization.
The successful candidate will have:
A background of general management, including P&L responsibility, in
manufacturing or construction
Organizational skills and the ability to lead a quality-driven team
A business degree or equivalent
A desire to manage a small company nationally recognized in its field
Knowledge of Lean principals.
Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 DOE + bonus potential + benefits. You
MUST submit previous salary history or current salary requirements along
with a full resume. Submittal by email is acceptable.
No relocation paid for out-of-state applicants.
The owner/manager wishes to turn over the reins in the next three months
and withdraw from day-to-day activity over the next two years.
